Below you will find some instructions which will help when using Cisco WebEx Meeting Center.
- The first step will be to open the email which one of our Support Team has sent to you. The sender will be 'QuoteMedia Inc.' and the subject line will be 'Join me in my Personal Room'
- Click the URL hyperlink in the main body of this email under the heading 'Join WebEx meeting'
- This will open a Web Browser with the screen below, please enter your Name & Email Address and click 'Join Meeting' (Note: These details do not have to be the same as your Quotestream Login Details)
- The next step will be to download the Cisco WebEx add-on, click 'Download' (Note: You can choose to access Cisco WebEx by browser but it is useful to have the downloaded version in case you ever require future assistance)
- Save the File and locate within your Downloads. This will be a different location depending on your browser (e.g. Mozilla Firefox is in the top right under the arrow symbol, Google Chrome has a Download Bar along the bottom of the Browser). Click on this download to open.
- Click 'Run' to start the Cisco WebEx Meeting Center
- The Meeting Center will open and start loading towards 100%, the length of time this takes will differ depending on connection speed
- Once connected a screen will appear titled 'Audio and Video Connection', we don't need this is the majority of cases so we can either click the X or 'Skip'.
- In order for the Support Team to view your screen, please click 'Share Screen' shown below. Alternatively you can click Share > My screen.
- Your screen will now be visible to our Support Team, the next step will be for us to ask for control of your mouse, which you will need to approve (a window will appear requesting this). Alternatively we can guide you through your request.
- Once the required support has concluded either you or the Support Team can click File > End Meeting. This will end the meeting and your screen will no longer be visible. You will receive a message 'The Cisco WebEx Meeting has now ended'.
